​Frasquita, Carmen - Opera Theater St. Louis

Carlos Izcaray drew energetic playing from the orchestra, and Gerdine Young Artists were nicely showcased (with graduates Gladen, Smoak, Winters and Bogdanov doing the program proud), particularly the bright-voiced Hernan Berisso as Moralès and the energetic Shirin Eskandani and Jennifer Caraluzzi as Mercédès and Frasquita.
